We go through your history, I put you through a full movement screen, and we take your baseline numbers. You leave with written findings and a clear picture of what's actually going on — whether or not you ever train with me.
When you last felt strong, what stopped you, what you've already tried, and what you actually want back. I write it down while you talk. Most people say nobody has ever asked them this.
Sleep, energy, stress, steps, water, what you're eating. Not a lecture — a picture. Half of what needs to change usually lives here rather than in the gym.
Overhead squat, single-leg work, pushing and pulling, balance and gait. I'm watching your ankles, knees, hips and shoulders for what's compensating for what. This is where the useful answers come from.
Waist, resting heart rate, sit-to-stand, single-leg balance, grip, push-ups, shoulder reach, toe touch. Ten measures, written down, dated.
Written down while you watch, in plain language, with the first four weeks sketched out. You take that page home.
At the end I'll tell you what I think you need, and if that's working with me, I'll say so and tell you what it costs. That's the honest version — I'm not going to pretend otherwise.
But the hour stands on its own. You leave with a written movement screen, ten baseline numbers, and a specific answer about the thing that's been bothering you. Plenty of people take that page to their physical therapist or their doctor and never train with me, and that's a perfectly good outcome.
What I won't do is chase you afterwards, hold your findings hostage, or pretend a special price is expiring tonight.
What's restricted, what's compensating, and which one is driving the other.
Dated. The starting point for anything you do next — with me or without me.
The thing nobody has told you before. There almost always is one.
What I'd actually do about it, sketched out plainly enough to hand to someone else.
Fastest way is to call or text. Mid-morning slots Tuesday through Friday are the ones I have open right now.
